Adult Classes
Barre Fitness | 30 minute class
This is a form of physical exercise that stems from classical dance movements and positions that are combined with yoga and pilates movements. Barre fitness is a full body workout, developing strength in the upper body, lower body and core and also improving flexibility.

Ballroom | 30 minute class
Ballroom dancing consists of two styles: Smooth/Standard styles and Rhythm/Latin Styles.
Smooth/Standard Style focuses on elegance, grace and fluidity of movements: Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango and Quickstep.
Rhythm/Latin Style focuses on a display of vibrant energy and a personal flair: Jive, Rumba, Cha Cha, Mambo and Samba.
Class Styles
We offer many different dance styles for any dancer to enjoy!
Pointe
Advance Ballet. Style of dancing which is done the toes of the shoes. A dancer is said to be on pointe when all the body weight is supported on the tips of the toes.
Ballet
A theatrical art form using dance, music, and scenery to convey a story, theme, or atmosphere. Dancing in which conventional poses and steps are combined with light flowing figures (such as leaps and turns). Ballet involves carefully organized movements to tell a story or express an idea. Students will work with strength, flexibility, poise and fluidity of movement.
Studio M teaches the Cecchetti method of Ballet.
Jazz
Both Jazz music and Jazz dance are involved together. Jazz dancing has evolved into many different styles - Broadway, pop, thrash, fosse, contemporary and Jazz tunes. We focus on teaching body isolations of the head, shoulders, ribcage, hips, feet and arms.
Tap
Uses shoes that have metal taps attached to the toes and heals to create sounds and syncopated rhythms.
Hip Hop
Refers to street dance styles primarily performed to Hip Hop music. It includes a wide range of styles, locking, popping, street style, funk, crump and breaking.
Power Tumbling | Acro
A gymnastics discipline in which participants perform a series of acrobatic skills. Acrobatics is the performance of extraordinary feats of balance, agility and motor coordination. Learn skills like somersaults, cartwheels, handstands, headstands, walkovers and handsprings. Studio M does a combination of both Power Tumbling and Acro.
